Everybody that knows me will tell you I have a passion for helping with breastfeeding. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 18 years and have always worked in maternal-child health. I worked as a Mother-Baby Nurse in a local hospital for 7 years before becoming a Lactation Consultant. In 2014, I started to focus my interest in breastfeeding support. I have been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2015. IBCLC is the gold standard for lactation care and involves rigorous preparation and yearly continuing education to maintain. I enjoy going to conferences to get the most up to date information to share with my clients. Since 2015, I have worked as a Lactation Consultant in a hospital providing inpatient and outpatient care to thousands of families with various breastfeeding needs.
Randleman has been my home since 2005. I live with my supportive husband and 3 growing boys that were all breastfed. My youngest son and I overcame many breastfeeding challenges.
In 2019, I started Central Carolina Lactation Consultant, PLLC to provide local care to breastfeeding moms in the privacy of your own home. I provide home visits to Randolph County and surrounding areas.
I provide you expert breastfeeding assistance and education to help you meet your parenting goals. My care is non-judgemental as I am a provider coming into your home. I will respect your breastfeeding goals and support you in your journey. My practice is supported by evidence-based research.
My favorite color is red and I like to travel with my family.
