How do you know if you need a lactation consultant
If you are having nipple pain, if your baby is not back to birth weight at 2 weeks of age or you have concerns at any time about breastfeeding. If your baby’s provider tells you to schedule a lactation consultation. Sometimes you may want to get a weighted feeding assessment for confidence that breastfeeding is going well.
Why a home visit
As a new parent I remember the trials of getting out of the home for baby appointments. What may have worked in the hospital may be a challenge now that you are at your home. Your baby may be older now with different challenges. Allow me to travel to you on your schedule. I am available day, evenings and some weekends.
